Sam Kerr is available for Liverpool Women’s trip to West Ham after missing three matches through injury, but Gareth Taylor will be without Lily Woodham and Ceri Holland.

The club confirmed the Scotland international’s return to contention on Thursday. It is a change from the previous week’s update, when Kerr was back in training but the London City Lionesses game came too soon.
Sam Kerr back in contention
Taylor said the week had given Liverpool time on the training pitch and a chance to recover some of their missing players.
“Sam Kerr is back in contention, Mari Ward is further down the line with her return, same with Lucy Parry,” the head coach said in the club’s report.
That makes Kerr available for Sunday’s Women’s Super League match. It does not confirm a place in the starting team or the number of minutes she will play.
Parry and Ward were unused substitutes in the previous weekend’s draw with London City Lionesses. Their continued progress adds to Taylor’s options, although the latest report does not announce a line-up.

Liverpool Women without Woodham and Holland
Woodham will not feature at Chigwell Construction Stadium. Taylor did not give a diagnosis in the published update, so there is no basis to assign her a specific recovery period.
Holland also remains unavailable, despite encouraging progress. Taylor said she was getting closer and was ahead of schedule, but he separated the prospect of a return to training from a return to match action.
His hope that Holland could be reintroduced in the next game or two is not a confirmed comeback date. The club has not said she will be in the squad against West Ham.
What has changed for Liverpool Women?
The clearest change is Kerr moving from training towards availability. Liverpool’s 23 October update had ruled her out of the London City game; the new assessment clears her for consideration this weekend.
Woodham’s absence offsets part of that boost, while Holland’s recovery is still ongoing. Taylor therefore goes into the West Ham build-up with more options in one area, rather than a fully fit squad.
