Manchester United faced a crushing 3-0 defeat to Liverpool, and fans angry. Check out how the players performed during this disastrous match.

Poor Show from United’s Stars

Andre Onana (5/10) – Onana should have stopped Liverpool’s second goal. His passing was shaky, and he couldn’t make those crucial saves.

Lisandro Martinez (3/10) – Martinez had a tough day, making errors in defence. A sloppy pass of his saw United almost another goal.

Casemiro (1/10) – Disappointing, did not look like his usual self. Two critical mistakes in the first half led directly to Liverpool’s goals. He could not handle it and his passing was terrible. It is difficult to realize that he was a superstar just last year.

Disappointing Attack

Bruno Fernandes (3/10) – He didn’t make a difference. He had openings to make things happen but every final ball was wrong.

Marcus Rashford (3/10) – Too little threat to the Liverpool defense. He was largely nowhere to be found throughout the game.

Joshua Zirkzee (2/10) – This was a nightmare of a game for him and one he needs to learn from. All he did was lose the ball and make shockingly wrong choices in critical instances. He also progressed a little in the second half, but nothing was good enough.

Manager’s Mistakes

Erik ten Hag (1/10) – Ten Hag had his tactics all wrong. United never got in gear, and his choices were part of the problem. Some concern will naturally arise considering that Amad has been benched, despite being named Player of the Month. His substitutions had minimal effect on the game, and he was booed for taking Garnacho off.

This match showed just how far United are from the top. Not only are the players out of form, even some decisions from a managerial perspective haven’t gone that right after all. And if it doesn’t get better, this could be a very long season for Manchester United.
