Charity Match at Stamford Bridge

At Stamford Bridge, legends from the world of football and celebrities starred in Soccer Aid 2024 to raise money for UNICEF. Soccer Aid has raised over 90 million pounds for kids charities since it began in 2006.

First Half Highlights

The game started with England going ahead to Joe Cole.

Eden Hazard and Del Piero scored two quick goals for the World XI. England vs Rest of the World FT: 2-2 Ellen White has become the first woman to score in any Soccer Aid match after her equalizer for England.

The opening period finished 2-2 in an entertaining first half.

Notable Performances

The team from England, managed by Frank Lampard and Harry Redknapp, benefitted from stars like Jermain Defoe and Joe Cole with it packed with celebs in the form of Steven Bartlett and Paddy McGuinness.

Although the game featured some great individual moments, like the dribble from Jack Wilshere to assist Ellen White first goal, It was a blend of professional football and entertainment.

Where players like Michael Essien and Patrice Evra displayed their footballing prowess whereas others gave the audience a side-splitting moment.

Second Half Anticipation

Subsequently, the exciting end-to-end football from both teams left a lot to look forward to in the second half. In addition to being a great night for fans, the event once again generated large amounts of money for UNICEF.

Soccer Aid 2024 was the success story of thrilling footballing action that supported a meaningful cause.

Not only did the fans inside Stamford Bridge have a humdinger of an evening, it was also all in aid of Nothing But Nets, an initiative created to prevent children dying from malaria and to help eliminate the disease around the world.
