Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka is in discussions with West Ham over a permanent move.

Moroccan international Mazraoui has been watching these negotiations for an agreement to be reached before his own transfer could proceed.

Wan-Bissaka has reportedly agreed to a move to the Hammers, which is now in the final stages of negotiation between the clubs.

This transfer is crucial for Manchester United to make room for Mazraoui.

Mazraoui’s Journey

Mazraoui, rated “world-class” by Ajax’s official website, has been keen on making a switch to Manchester United in order to reunite with his ex-Ajax manager Erik ten Hag.

The player himself is already believed to have agreed personal terms with United, where he has been offered a six-year contract.

His versatility allows him to play both right-back and left-back, which will be an asset to United’s defense.

Stats and Performance

Mazraoui’s performance stats from the 2023/24 Bundesliga season highlight his potential contribution to Manchester United.

He played 19 games, provided 3 assists, and had an impressive pass accuracy of 88.3%. His defensive capabilities are also notable, with 2.41 tackles and 1.5 interceptions per 90 minutes.

Additionally, Mazraoui’s progressive passes and key passes per 90 minutes stand at 7.74 and 1.13, respectively, showcasing his ability to support the attack.

Finalizing the Deal

Manchester United have informed Mazraoui that the deal will be processed after Wan-Bisska’s switch to West Ham has gone through.

And rounding things off, it is a case of clearance from Bayern Munich which applies to this signing as Mazraoui on their pre-season tour in South Korea.

Additional Signings

Manchester United on Wednesday confirmed the signing of Danish teenager Chido Obi Martin as an option, in addition to 23-year-old Noussair Mazraoui.

The 16-year-old ex-Arsenal wonderkid netted a staggering 32 goals in just 18 Under-18 Premier League appearances last season.

The teenager has rejected more lucrative options from Germany as he feels that he stands a better chance to get regular first-team minutes at Manchester United.

It comes after recent breakthroughs for youngsters including Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho and Toby Collyer under Ten Hag.

This is a major move for Manchester United in their summer transfer plans as they hunt reinforcements at the back.

His skills and versatility, combined with the upcoming addition of Chido Obi Martin, reflect the club’s strategy of building a strong, future-oriented squad.

Fans eagerly await the official confirmation of these deals, which promise to enhance Manchester United’s performance in the upcoming season.
