Ryan Gravenberch and Rodrigo Bentancur are among the players in the latest Premier League suspensions update ahead of Gameweek 7.
The league’s suspension list, updated on 12 October, also includes Pascal Struijk and Axel Disasi. The league’s guide explains both the current absences and the booking thresholds that can trigger another ban.
Premier League suspensions for Gameweek 7
Liverpool midfielder Gravenberch is listed as suspended for Gameweek 7. Tottenham’s Bentancur is listed for Gameweeks 7 to 9.
Brighton defender Struijk and Crystal Palace defender Disasi are also listed for Gameweek 7. These are the entries in the league’s published table, rather than a prediction of every club’s team selection.
The Gravenberch suspension follows a weekend in which Liverpool lost 3-0 to Manchester City after his dismissal. For squad planning, the disciplinary absence is separate from any injury question.
Three players one booking from the first threshold
The Premier League suspensions table lists Brentford’s Vitaly Janelt and Hull City’s Matt Crooks and Oliver McBurnie on four yellow cards.
According to the disciplinary rules set out in the guide, five bookings in a team’s first 19 Premier League matches lead to a one-match ban in the same competition.
That makes those players close to the threshold, not already suspended under it. Another booking would matter only within the relevant match limit.
How Premier League suspensions carry across competitions
The guide says Premier League yellow cards are not carried into the EFL Cup or FA Cup. Red-card suspensions, however, apply across the Premier League and those domestic cup competitions.
The distinction matters when checking when a player is next available. Counting every yellow card across every competition as one total would give the wrong answer.
A further threshold applies later in the league season: ten yellow cards up to and including the team’s 32nd league fixture produce a two-match suspension.
Check the latest disciplinary table
The published Premier League suspensions list is a dated snapshot. Supporters and fantasy managers should check it again when new matches or disciplinary decisions change the position.
Gravenberch was sent off in the defeat by Manchester City.
