Premier League weekend coverage: Sky fixtures and UK kick-offs

by Alex Matthews

Premier League weekend coverage resumes after the international break, with Manchester United v Tottenham on Saturday evening and Liverpool v Manchester City on Sunday afternoon among five matches Sky Sports lists for live UK coverage.

This guide separates the live Sky fixtures from the rest of the schedule. It does not suggest that every Premier League match is available through the same broadcaster.

Premier League weekend coverage on Saturday

Manchester United host Tottenham at 5.30pm on Saturday 10th October. Sky Sports lists the match as live, giving supporters an evening kick-off rather than a 3pm start.

The other Premier League weekend coverage matches on Saturday are Arsenal v Leeds at 12.30pm, followed by Aston Villa v Brentford, Chelsea v Bournemouth, Ipswich v Fulham and Sunderland v Brighton at 3pm. Those listings are fixture times, not a claim that Sky has the live UK television rights to each game.

Sunday and Monday matches

Crystal Palace v Nottingham Forest and Hull City v Everton both begin at 2pm on Sunday 11th October and are listed as live on Sky Sports, the next stage of the Premier League weekend coverage.

Liverpool v Manchester City follows at 4.30pm, also live on Sky. Supporters choosing between the early matches should check their television or streaming programme guide for the relevant channel.

Coventry City host Newcastle United at 8pm on Monday 12th October. Sky lists that game as live too, which completes the round.

Monday’s game is the last of the round. Read Newcastle lists Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event, with coverage starting at 6.30pm and streaming through Sky Go and NOW.

These are the UK-time listings in Sky Sports’ Thursday weekend guide. A match appearing in a fixture list is different from a free viewing offer: this article does not promise free live streams, overseas availability or access without the relevant subscription.
