Leeds Key Role in Youth Success
He completed the full 90 minutes in every FA Youth Cup outing, showcasing scintillating tackles and forward runs.
That did not go unnoticed and he was given a chance at the Under 21 level, even scoring against Fulham.
Club’s Commitment to Youth
Richards has agreed a one-year deal with Leeds United tying him to the club until 2025.
The club’s statement emphasized his versatility, operating as a full-back but also occasionally in a more advanced role on the wing.
He has signed as part of our wider project to keep some up-and-coming talent in the wings, with English academy players Reuben Lopata Rite and Harry Christy having also recently put pen-to-paper.
Future Prospects
The club wished Richards all the best and were looking forward to his development at Thorp Arch.
Fans can expect to see Richards more as he begins to take part of the team.
