Manchester United star Kobbie Mainoo is set to miss the next one month of action due to a hamstring injury.
This is rather frustrating to Erik ten Hag for United as the club already fears what seems to be a long list of injuries.
Mainoo, 19, sustained the injury in United’s 0-0 draw against Aston Villa and will reportedly be sidelined for seven crucial fixtures, including their match against Brentford and their Europa League clash with Fenerbahce.
Manchester United’s Injury Struggles
In addition to Mainoo, other United players such as Harry Maguire are some of the players who have been injured.
This puts the squad in a very awkward position when most of the first-team regulars are out of action.
There is good news coming as Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo are set to return back for the team soon.
This accumulation of injuries is complicating Ten Hag’s plans, important fixtures are coming and the team’s position in the English Premier League and in the Europa League.
Nevertheless, the young midfielder will look forward to getting back on the pitch as soon as the next international break is over.
Manchester United fans will be hoping that Mainoo and others can return as soon as possible, with the team needing to maintain form in the coming fixtures.
